This is
Meg, the first Dogue de Bordeaux rescued by
the the DDBS, July 24, 1997. She was found by
a NY shelter wandering the streets and was picked up by a DDBS member,
Bridgette Antonocci-Milano, brought to MA by
Anna Reich and Tammy Hickey, and fostered for a month with Tammy. She was
adopted by Jeri Arledge,
and lived happily and content during her last year.
Today the Dogue de Bordeaux Rescue of the DDBS saves and assists over 50 Dogues de Bordeaux and Dogue de Bordeaux mixes every year. A large network of volunteers goes across North America, but there is never enough help for the ever increasing numbers. |
